Adventure Minnesota Films is thrilled to host the Among the Wild Fundraiser, a positive, high-energy event that is sure to entertain and inspire. Join us for an afternoon on the trails and an evening in the park. Kick back with a beverage of your choice, reconnect with long-lost adventurous friends and enter to win fabulous prizes!
At 5:00 PM, the program will begin, and we will announce the winners for the Among the Wild film project. The nominations team is currently in conversation to pick the lucky four. It will not be an easy decision! We were graced with incredible nominees and picking only four to tell our story will be challenging. Remember, we are not seeking the most elite athletes, but four inspiring individuals (or groups) that together tell a broader story of outdoor adventure in Minnesota.
We are partnering with local businesses to provide you with the chance to win thousands of dollars in raffle items. Join us for the afternoon fun race event for a chance to win hidden gear in a scavenger orienteering event. Check out the gear and gift certificates at the silent auction and stay for the raffle and door prize. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the gate, and everyone in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a door prize.
We are working hard to make this an event worthy of your attendance. Stay tuned as we add sponsors and fine-tune details. Updates will be posted here and on Facebook.
Come. Enjoy the show. Live among the wild!

This documentary is an independent project being produced by a band of freelance professionals in the film, marketing, and web industries. It is a labor of love, fueled by a passion for outdoor adventure and a love for cinematography. We need the adventure community’s help to make it happen.
In addition to the fundraiser event, we ran a Kickstarter campaign to raise the necessary funds to shoot the first short film. We are thrilled to announce we closed our Kickstarter on September 24 at $11,157! Thank you to all that contributed! Moving forward into 2013, we will continue to seek funding through sponsorships and grants.
